Salisbury Steak

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs Ground Beef
  • 1 10.5oz. Can French Onion Soup (condensed)
  • 1/2 Cup Dry Bread Crumbs
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Tbsp. Flour
  • 1/4 Tsp. Salt
  • 1/8 Tsp. Black Pepper
  • 1/4 Cup Ketchup
  • Instant Mashed Potatoes
  • Corn
  • 1/4 Cup Water
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce

Cooking Instructions

  • In a large bowl, mix together 1/3 cup condensed French onion soup with ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, salt and black pepper. Shape into 6 patties
  • Brown both sides of the patties and pour off excess fat
  • Mix remaining soup and flour until smooth
  • Add in ketchup, water and Worcestershire sauce
  • Pour over meat in skillet
  • Cook on medium for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally
  • Serve with instant mashed potatoes on side
