Mushroom Surprise

Ingredients
- 2 lbs. Lean Ground Beef
- 3 12-oz. Cans Cream of Mushroom Soup (Not Concentrate)
- 1 Package Mushrooms, Sliced
- 1 16-oz. Bag Egg Noodles, Cooked
- 3 Tbsp. Italian Seasoning
- Hot Sauce to Taste (Optional)
- Salt & Pepper to Taste
- Grated Parmesan Cheese
Cooking Instructions
- Prepare egg noodles according to package instructions.
- Meanwhile, in a heavy-bottomed pot, brown the ground beef, then drain off all grease and set aside.
- In the same pot, add just a little of the rendered beef fat and cook the mushrooms until soft.
- Once the mushrooms are cooked, add the cooked ground beef back in and mix.
- Season with salt, pepper and the Italian seasoning.
- Add the cans of cream of mushroom soup and bring to a simmer.
- Add the hot sauce and fold in the cooked egg noodles.
- Serve with grated Parmesan.
