Tortellini Soup

Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 lb Italian Sausage
- 3 Cloves Minced Garlic
- 2 Tsp Italian Seasoning
- 2 Tbsp All-Purpose Flour
- 4 Cups Chicken Stock
- 1 Can Tomato Sauce (8 oz)
- 1 Package of 3 Cheese Tortellini (9 oz)
- ⅓ Cup Heavy Cream
- 3 Tbsp Chopped Fresh Basil
- Salt and Pepper, to taste
Cooking Instructions
- Heat olive oil in large pot, over medium heat
- Add Italian sausage and cook until brown
- Crumble sausage as it cooks
- Stir in garlic, onion, and Italian seasoning
- Stir often until onions are translucent
- Season with salt and pepper, to taste
- Whisk in flour until lightly browned
- Whisk in chicken stock and tomato sauce
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer
- Stir in 3 cheese tortellini
- Cover and cook until tender
- Stir in heavy cream and basil until heated
- Enjoy!
